The Porsche 550 Spyder known as "Little Bastard" is one of the most infamous cars in automotive history — not just for its sleek, low-slung design and motorsport pedigree, but for its dark association with Hollywood legend James Dean. Lightweight, agile, and powered by a flat-four engine, the 550 was built for the track and quickly became a giant-killer in 1950s racing. Dean’s personal car, bearing the number 130 and the now-iconic nickname "Little Bastard" across its rear, tragically became part of his fatal crash in 1955 — cementing the car’s place in both racing lore and pop culture myth. To this day, the 550 remains a symbol of raw speed, rebellion, and the haunting allure of danger behind the wheel.
